Re: 2005 Season

The PSCHA is requesting that you voluntarily do not fish the North shore of Seaforth Channel – from Bush Point (52.15.645 N - 128.19.001 W) to Ivory Island.

The PSCHA, together with the Heiltsuk Fisheries Program, will be involved in a research project in this area. This project is very important in gathering the necessary data for our return to a rotational system of fishing.

We hope you understand the need for this request and will support us in our endeavour to gather the most accurate and relevant data possible.
