Pass it to someone you know.

This is an invitation to participate in research about Canadians’ views about sea otter recovery. I seek your input and invite you to complete a survey. The survey takes about 10 minutes to do on-line. The url for the web-site becomes corrupted by RRU web-mail with a redirect when I put it in the text of the e-mail so I have attached it in a word document. If there is any problem accessing the survey please e-mail me.

If you would prefer a paper and pen survey please send your mailing address and I will send it immediately.

Purpose

The primary purpose of the survey is to examine people’s views on the recovery of sea otters on the west coast of Vancouver Island with a secondary objective of improving communication and education about sea otter recovery.

The survey is anonymous, and at no time can specific comments be attributed to any individual. Findings might be used in future publications.

This research is part of a thesis requirement for a MA and is inspired by people who I have listened to while living and working on the west coast. My credentials with Royal Roads University can be established by telephoning Dr. Richard Kool, Director, Environmental Education and Communication Program, (250) 391-2523.
